Evaluation Plus Inc. helped to renew French immersion and French second language programs (FSL) in Edmonton Public Schools, Peace River Public School District, Grande Prairie consortium of school districts, Regina Public School Division, Yellowknife Education District #1, Northwest Territories and Yukon Territories.
Evaluation Plus Inc. helped to establish a successful international French language examination centre in Edmonton Public Schools which became a model for other communities across Canada. Currently, the number of approved examination centres has grown to 20 from British Columbia to Nova Scotia. In these centres, Canada's students are assessed by the same international French language standards as candidates in 166 countries and receive international recognition for their French language competency.
Evaluation Plus Inc. also completed research related to improving French second language programs for the Canadian Parents for French, Ottawa and the Council of Ministers of Education of Canada, conducted a needs assessment for the Canadian Association of Second Language Teachers, and provided advisory services to projects sponsored by the Department of Canadian Heritage.
